A couple more questions regarding tournament policy: Sergio Pérez (Peke) was working the Urza’s Saga Event yesterday. While players were building their sealed decks, one of them asked whether the pre-sixth edition rules would be used for the tournament, since Saga’s block was released before that. You know, the damage prevention window, interrupts and all that stuff. After considering it for some seconds, Peke ran away.
Having played under all editions of the Magic rules, I'm not sure why you'd want to go back to pre-sixth edition, and I fully endorse Sergio's escape.
